Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) is the largest university in Greece. Ιt comprises 10 faculties which consist of 40 schools and 1 single-School Faculty. It is a pioneer, world-class university, standing out among Greek and foreign Universities on all levels: education, research, culture, and connection with society. The Laboratory of Electronic Media (eMedia) at AUTH specializes in radio and TV broadcasting, audiovisual production, and digital media technologies. With a fully equipped Radio Recording Studio, it supports audio recording, processing, editing, and digital radio technologies. The lab plays a key role in media innovation, journalism, and R&D projects, advancing new techniques in sound design, interactive platforms, and audiovisual content management.

AUTH leads efforts in music-to-movement translation, ensuring a seamless connection between audio and dance through genre classification, melody extraction, and sentiment analysis. By analyzing rhythmic patterns, AUTH enables personalized dance movement generation and aligns choreography with musical structures. Leveraging generative spatial audio, they create immersive soundscapes, enhancing virtual and hybrid performances. AUTH also contributes to conceptualization, scenario definition, and pilot evaluations, ensuring all user and system requirements are met. Additionally, they contribute to conceptualization, requirements elicitation, and scenario definition, ensuring an ethical and inclusive framework, they facilitate research dissemination, and coordinate audio-related activities, ensuring innovation, inclusivity, and alignment with the project’s goals.
